It was cloudy, 63 and very humid this morning.  Starting out today I knew it was going to be a tough run because my legs felt tired from the start.  I am not sure what is going on but my legs have just been fried for the last couple of weeks.  I started out real easy to get into it and felt ok through the first 12/13 miles.  After that I was tired and my legs just felt like they had no energy.  I had to push myself the last 5 miles but glad to get another 20 miler in.  Hopefully, I will start to adjust and I can add some MP miles to these longer runs.  It seems I am a long way from that right now.

WOW, great run today! Do you take ice baths? That really helps with tired legs!

Nice job! It will definitely come back to you. For me, I see a difference by the 3rd 20-miler. You'll be fine.

Barry, I have done ice baths in the past but haven't on my last two long runs. Good idea and I will give it a try.

Dave, I hope you are right about 3rd time being a charm. I am going to try another 20 next weekend because I want to get to the point where I can add some speed to my long runs.

Good solid run Jim. Even though you didn't feel great still pushed through it without anything bad happening, that's always good.
