Back on the treadmill today! Yea! Not really. I wanted to do some tempo work today and it was snowy and slushy. Not the best footing for running fast. I did a couple of miles on the treadmill and then just bumped up the speed gradually until I was around 6:50. I ran this for a couple of miles and then ran the last mile around 6:40. I didn't want to over do it but wanted to get the legs used to some faster running. Overall, I felt like it was a good workout. It also made running on the treadmill better since I had to concentrate more on what I was doing. The weather all this week doesn't look good so I will have to wait to see how it goes.

Nice run, hope your weather is better than ours! Winter training is really beginning to get old...hope that Groundhog does NOT see his shadow as I want spring to come soon!

I agree the TM is hard to take, but is a necessary part of Jan. training.
