It was warm (75) and humid this morning.  I was dragging this morning.  It might be from the trip to Chicago and the lack of sleep the last couple of days.  I took it easy during the run and was glad to get it in.  I did get a new Garmin since my last one stopped working.  I like the new size and interface to it.

What model Garmin did you get?

I got the 210. Looks more like a regular watch and has the basic functions plus HRM. So far I like it. I somehow fried my 305.

A smart approach to getting back after the issues.

I just got a Forerunner 210 as well...my 205 literally fell apart (the GPS unit fell of the band!). I like it so far as well (wish it had a bit more options for the display). I never used all the other "stuff" on the 205/305 anyways and the size is nice (plus you can wear it as a regular watch!).

Jeff, I agree on the 210. It has everything that I used on the 305 but in a small package. My 305 came apart also. It didn't fall apart but separated enough where water got in it and fried it. I think the 210 will last longer. Seems to be put together better.
