Today completed my first full week of running since the marathon. I am happy to say that I was able to do it all outside without any time on the treadmill. This is definitely a positive this time of year.

Today was a pretty nice day (32) but still had that blasted wind. I complain about it every year but the wind is pretty much a constant this time of year so I guess I ought to accept it. I ran out into the wind so that I could have the run back with the wind. That worked out good so that I was able to pick up the pace on the way back. I felt good throughout the run. Legs got tired some toward the end but nothing bad considering the break.

Nice run! I don't miss that midwestern wind. Can't wait to get outside myself. Congrats on you first full week back. Way to discipline yourself with a gradual progression.

Great work. Ahhh yes, the wind.
