Portsmouth, NH:  I flew back from CA yesterday then had to fly out this morning early.  Pretty tired after all the travel but was able to get out after meetings on a beautiful day here.  I just took it easy and couldn't get my Garmin to turn on so might have to get a new one.  I just ran what felt like 5 miles but got back to the hotel and mapped it out at over 6 miles.  That made me feel like I am making progress since it didn't seem to be as long as it was.  Now after having some dinner I am ready to crash and get caught up on sleep.

It was a nice day in Indiana.  It was around 70 but very windy.  I got back from Portsmouth late last night and wasn't able to run up there the last couple of days.  Was in meetings from early in the morning to late at night.  It was a very tiring trip.  Glad to be back home and get in some miles.  I felt good today and ran at a little faster pace then normal.  It was a little tough running back into the wind but other than that a good run.

It was a pretty nice day today but got out a little later than normal so it was warming up. I felt good but just ran easy.  I did through in a few surges in during the run just to see how it felt running faster.  That went pretty good but it is evident that I have lost a lot of fitness based on running faster for just a couple of minutes.

Went out for a 52 mile bike ride this morning.  I am planning a long ride in couple of weeks so needed to get some time on the bike to get ready for it.  I felt pretty good most of the way and it was a get morning to be out.  It was cool and cloudy with not much wind.  I need to get closer to 100 miles in before I will feel comfortable for the ride.
